We are Cheshire Conservatory Roofs, a trading name of Cheshire Conservatory Roofs and Home Improvements Ltd. Our registered office and our contact details are at the foot of every page on this site.

We decide what happens to the details you send us, which in data protection terms makes us the controller of them.

The enquiry form on this site asks for your name and a phone number, because we cannot ring you back without them. Everything else on the form is optional.

We use it to reply to your enquiry and to arrange a survey. That is all.

We do not add you to a marketing list. We do not send newsletters. We do not sell your details to anybody, and we do not pass them to other trades looking for work.

Three companies handle your enquiry on its way to us, and none of them uses it for anything of their own.

You asked us to get in touch, so holding your details long enough to do that is a legitimate interest of ours and an obvious expectation of yours.

If your enquiry turns into a job, we hold what we need to do the work and to meet our legal obligations afterwards, including the paperwork behind a Building Control certificate and a guarantee.

If your enquiry does not turn into a job, we keep it for two years and then delete it. Conservatory roofs are the sort of thing people think about for a while and come back to.

If it does turn into a job, we keep the job file for six years after the work is finished, which is the ordinary period for a contract, and longer where the guarantee or the Building Control paperwork requires it.

This website does not set any cookies. There is no cookie banner on it because there is nothing to ask you about.

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and to measure how quickly pages load. Neither sets a cookie and neither identifies you.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us holding it at all.

Ring or email us and we will sort it out. We do not charge for this, and we will come back to you within a month.

If you think we have got it wrong and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
